Editorial reviews
Write around 350 words for publication and promotion, or 250 words for children’s books.

- Up to $35 CAD
- Per book, depending on assignment type and book length.
Compensation is in Amazon or Indigo gift cards, not cash. Pay-per-review cards are issued monthly in CAD; local currency conversion happens at redemption.
Two books. Your own words.
Submit two reviews of recently read books, about 150 words each, in PDF format.
- Open with a compelling hook.
- Summarize the book’s themes and distinctive qualities.
- Balance strengths and criticism with specific examples.
- Include quotable lines while keeping a professional tone.
Write entirely in your own words. CANREADS checks for plagiarism and dismisses reviewers who plagiarize.
Before you apply
- Be at least 18 and proficient in reading and writing English.
- Meet editorial standards and assignment deadlines.
- Printed books ship within Canada only; international reviewers read EPUB or PDF copies.
